Can't tell if the leak is from the gasket under the PTO cover-plate or if it's at the PTO shaft. Unless you can tell, clean it off, run it, and let us know. And if it's at the shaft, does it have to be turning to get the leaking?

Also, wiggle on your pto shaft just to make sure there is no slack or wear in the outer bearing.

Here I am again. Not familiar with the 2210 but looking at your picture I think I can see a snap ring in the cover. If so, the seal is right behind it. All you would have to do is remove snap ring, remove seal, install new seal, re install snap ring. Good advise by Alan to make sure that is where the leak is. I'm just looking at picture so I may not be seeing a snap ring, you will have to determine that.

If it is the seal leaking it should be retained by a circlip, which has holes in the end and is easily removed and installed with this tool, and next to impossible without it. If it's just a snap ring, you are in for a battle.

I sort of went generic and not very technical when speaking of a snap ring. There are quite a variance of internal retaining rings but I hope you understood what I was saying.

Thanks for info. I will clean this weekend and take a closer look. Fluid does leak without pto being run. I can fill and run for about 15 min before fluid gets low again, after stopping fluid will continue to leak until it will not show on dipstick.

If it is leaking that bad I would be sure and make sure there is no slack in bearings. Sounds suspicious.
