A Three point system allows
you to attach a variety of implements or tools to your tractor.
The design got its name because of the 3 attacment points to your
tractor as shown in the image. This design allows the implement
to raise and lower while remaining level.
 While
the basic design is the same on all Yanmar tractors, the details
vary. Below are the common components that will make up a 3 point
system.
Your system may inlude bars
instead of sway chains and may require additional parts such as
top link brackets (the place where the top link attaches to the
tractor) or lower links (place where the lift arms attach to the
tractor). Those parts can be ordered seperately or as three
point kits from one of our sponsors. There really is not muct
to the installation, as shown in the image below. All of the parts
are pretty self explanitory on most systems. The adjustable
side link can go on either side. The sway chains bolt into the lower
lift arms on one end and the brackets beside the opposite arm on
the other side.
